Castleford Tigers Foundation - Communications Volunteer

Role Overview:
As our volunteer Communications Coordinator, you'll be responsible for overseeing the creation and management of engaging content across our social media channels. You'll work closely with the Foundation team to share our programs, events, and impact with the wider community. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your communications skills while supporting a local charity with a strong sporting heritage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage social media content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), and LinkedIn.
• Plan and execute content calendars in line with Foundation activities.
• Create engaging graphics, photos, videos, and written content.
• Monitor social media performance and report on engagement metrics.
• Collaborate with the Foundation team to ensure consistent messaging and brand voice.

Skills & Qualities:

• Passion for sports, community, and social impact.
• Strong written and visual communication skills.
• Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Canva, Hootsuite) preferred.
• Creative, organised, and self-motivated.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Time Commitment:
Flexible; we welcome volunteers who can commit a few hours per week.
