About Wakey Wheeled Cats
Wakey Wheeled Cats are a friendly, social and happy Roller Derby team. We are open to anyone who wants to join and we have no upper age limit (although you must be over 18). Many of our members had never skated before joining.

Beginner roller skaters are welcome as full minimum skills training is given in separate sessions to the main team so you can focus on basic skate skills.
Wakey Wheeled Cats is a women's team; we follow The Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) Statement about Gender. Anyone over the age of 18 can also join as a referee (on skates) or a non-skating official (NSO).
You can come and see what we get up to by attending one of our training sessions which are held at Lightwaves Leisure Centre; just contact us first!
