Roller Derby is an all-girl contact sports. It's fierce, feisty, fast paced and fun.
An Overview of Roller Derby
Two teams of 5 skaters battle it out for position over a series of "jams" which last up to 2 minutes. Four "blockers" on each team and one "jammer". The jammer's job is to score points. After her initial pass through the "pack" of blockers, a jammer will score one point each time she passes a member of the opposing team. The blockers attempt to assist their own jammer while hindering the opposing jammer — playing both offense and defence simultaneously.
The game ends after the period clock runs out, and the team with the most points wins.

Wakey Wheeled Cats is Wakefield's roller derby team. Formed in 2009, we currently have over 40 members and are always welcoming new skaters and referees.
British Roller Sports Federation
The British Roller Sports Federation is the National Governing Body for all Roller Sports in the UK and Northern Ireland.
Hot Wheel Roller Derby
Roller derby is a full contact roller skating sport played predominantly by women on quad roller skates (not inlines). Over 18's only. Men can join and learn to skate, and train to referee the game here at Hot Wheel. We have a fully qualified skate coach
Sheffield Steel Junior Rollers
Sheffield Steel Junior Rollers, Sheffield's first co-ed Junior Roller Derby team, for kids aged between 8-17 years old
Rule 56
Rule 56 is offering 1:1 and small group private roller skating sessions in the Bradford area.
We also run events for coaches, with a focus on new skaters and encouraging development and retention.

ALL IN is a not-for-profit based in Bradford (UK) with the fundamental goal of making roller derby available to the local community.
