About Harrohgate Fencing Club
Based in the centre of Harrogate, HFC is a Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC) run by a committee made of up enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers. We are a three weapon club but have a particular emphasis on Foil and Epee. The club boasts in excess of 100 members ranging in ability from junior and adult beginners, to social fencers and International athletes competing on the European and World circuits.
Wheelchair fencing is very much an integral part of the club and both junior and seniors, of all levels, are actively encouraged to take part in this programme as this form is fantastic for the improvement of blade work and hand speed.
Fencing takes place on a Wednesday evening from 6pm to 9.45pm .We regularly run junior and adult beginners courses and welcome new members and visiting fencers any time.
