In partnership with Sport England, the Movement for Change programme aims to support social entrepreneurs who are helping to unlock the advantages of sport and physical activity for the most marginalised communities.

UnLtd, working in partnership with Sport England, have launched the Movement for Change programme, aiming to support social entrepreneurs who are helping to unlock the advantages of sport and physical activity for the most marginalised communities. Awards of up to £18,000 are available, alongside support to develop key business and leadership skills to help social ventures become more financially sustainable.

Key Details

  • We are looking for social entrepreneurs who use sport/physical activity for social benefit in England.
  • We are particularly interested in ventures that make physical activity more accessible and inclusive.
  • There are two types of awards available:
    • Start-Up Award (up to a max of £8k) for people who have an idea and need help to get started. (Or who have been trading for less than one year).
    • Scale-Up Award (up to a max of £18k) for people who have been trading for one year+ and are seeking help to scale their impact.
  • Successful applicants will also be able to access tailored support to develop key business and leadership skills including:
    • UnLtd Support Manager who provides tailored 1-2-1 support.
    • Mentoring and legal advice.
    • Opportunities to meet and learn from fellow social entrepreneurs through online and in-person networking sessions.
    • Online workshops on technical topics including leadership, financial management, measuring social impact.

Two online information sessions will be taking place which will be recorded and available to view on YouTube.
