Bowls England Club Loans Scheme

The Bowls England Loans Scheme is available to support clubs who wish to improve their facilities, with loans of up to £20,000.

About Bowls England Club Loans Scheme

The Bowls England Loans Scheme, is just one of the many ways that we help affiliated clubs. A total of £650,000 is available to support clubs who wish to improve their facilities. In doing so, we help clubs to develop whilst at the same time putting our reserves to good use for the benefit of members.

A Club Loan may be used for any reasonable purpose including but not limited to:

  • Purchase of lawn mowers, scarifiers, turf irons or sprinkler systems
  • Repair of ditches and banks
  • Clubhouse development
  • Fencing
  • Car parking
  • Changing rooms

All clubs applying for a Club Loan must have been affiliated to Bowls England for a minimum of three years prior to application. Details of repayment periods and administration fees applied can be found here: Loans Repayment Admin Fees.
