A training day to equip staff with the knowledge, confidence and practical strategies to deliver high-quality physical education where all pupils regardless of ability, need or background can take part meaningfully and experience success.
Staff will:
- Understand what inclusion looks like in a PE context and why it matters.
- Identify barriers to participation and implement strategies to remove or reduce them.
- Confidently adapt activities, equipment and rules to meet diverse needs.
- Use inclusion pedagogies that support SEND learners, children with physical difficulties, EAL learners, and those with low confidence.
- Plan lessons that are accessible , challenging, and enjoyable for all pupils.
