Moving Rotherham Active Schools Network (Summer)

It is such an exciting time for Rotherham after the announcement that Sport England will be investing in the town through their place expansion funding. This will go a long way to support children and young people and wider communities to be more active and build a strong relationship with physical activity. To compliment the annual PE conferences at Rotherham United Football Club, and the fantastic school games network, these bi-annual meetings will provide a forum where district wide Primary PE leads can come together, share learning and best practice, engage in CPD, and ensure that they are kept up to date with the growing opportunities being made available locally which support pupils to be more active and add value to schools PE, Sport and physical activity provision.

We are still awaiting announcements on national policy which encompass the future of the Premium, Enrichment Framework and new PE curriculum but we hope some more information will come to light by the date of this meeting. Any information will help to inform the session however a full agenda will be sent closer to the time.
