Moving Rotherham Active Schools Network

It is such an exciting time for Rotherham after the announcement that Sport England will be investing in the town through their place expansion funding. This will go a long way to support children and young people and wider communities to be more active and build a strong relationship with physical activity. Building on the PE conference at Rotherham United Football Club last year, and the very strong school games network, these bi-annual meetings will provide a forum where Primary PE leads can come together, share learning and best practice, engage in CPD, and ensure that they are kept up to date with the growing opportunities being made available locally which support pupils to be more active and add value to schools PE, Sport and physical activity provision.
