Silkstone Golf Club

Silkstone Golf Club, which was established in 1893, is a friendly and welcoming golf club in Barnsley South Yorkshire. Following extensive re-development in 2008, we offer an excellent championship golf course with the some of the finest practice facilities in the county. The course is 6363 yards from the yellow tees and 6536 yards from the white tees and is a test for golfers of all abilities. The stunning views over the Silkstone valley towards Emley Moor and Cannon Hall enhance the experience of playing a round or two of golf in such a beautiful and relaxing setting. Thanks to our dedicated greens team and our winter course policy, this impressive course is superbly maintained and remains open when many around us are closed due to adverse conditions. Our Head PGA Professional, Matt Skelton, and his staff are always on site and happy to help with any problems or enquiries you may have, The clubhouse provides a full range of catering facilities with a wide selection of meals and a comprehensive bar menu.
