About Barnsley Sumo Club (Kitanojo Beya)
Barnsley Sumo Club (Kitanojo-beya) provides high quality instruction in the ancient martial art of sumo wrestling. Sumo is a sport for everyone regardless of gender, size, background or sporting ability. Join us today to experience the power, finesse and tradition that sumo has to offer. The club is run by our Lead Instructor, Richard Riggs - a World Sumo Championships competitor for Great Britain and Team GB National Coach. Sessions run 08:30-10:00 on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month. Join us at KBOX Academy, Central Chambers, Eldon St, Barnsley, S70 2JN. Email barnsley.sumo@gmail.com to book your place.
