About Ackworth Tennis Club
We are a friendly club which is located within Ackworth School. We have access to 5 Acrylic tennis courts 5 days a week.
We run a members social evening on a Thursday from 6pm. Everyone is welcome to come along - you'll get a good mix of games with people of differing standards. The club also has the courts on a Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Members regularly post on the club's closed Facebook group to arrange times to hit with other members. Please get in contact if you would like to join.
We have a team playing in the Wakefield and District Tennis League and are looking to enter another team. Let us know if you are interested in playing competitively.
If you are interested in becoming a member you can come along to social tennis and give it a go for free.
We also have coaching sessions for all ages. Check out our website for full details of coaching, events and the weekly court schedule.
