About Active Black Country Workforce Partnership Lead
Active Black Country is the Active Partnership for the Black Country region covering the areas of Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton. Our organisation has a passionate belief that physical activity and sport can change people's lives and that it is every resident's right to be active and play sport. We have an ambition is to 'create an active healthy region' and enable our 318,000 inactive residents to be active.
We work with a range of fantastic partners across the Black Country, who share our ambition to get people active, compete in sport or simply moving more through fun and play. We are looking for a workforce lead who shares the passion and enthusiasm to play a major role in helping get Black Country residents active and create a healthier Black Country.
The workforce role is central to fulfilling our ambition to create an active and healthy region. The Black Country's volunteers, sport coaches, teachers, community activators, apprentices, occupational therapists, early years specialists and leisure centre staff all play a role in getting people active.
We are seeking somebody who is passionate about supporting and developing people and can recognise the potential in others. A believer in the benefits of physical activity and sport in contributing to educational, health, social and economic outcomes. Equally possessing a knowledge and experience of partnership working and operating through an enabling approach to develop collaborative agendas which drive sport and physical activity initiatives.
