YSF Connect and Share - Climate Emergency

As part of a series of online events to coincide with COP26, the United National Climate Change Conference in Glasgow, we are inviting those who work in the sport and physical activity sector to come together to discuss the ways in which we can all play a part in addressing the climate emergency.

The session will provide opportunities to have conversations, share ideas on policies, strategies and evidence, consider what is working, what might be getting in the way and connect different people, organisations and partnerships.

The session will be delivered virtually on Zoom. It will include breakout rooms to allow discussion and networking. We will provide an opportunity for you to share what you are doing and to hear from others about their work.

These, or similar, questions will provide a starting point for our conversation:

  • What are you trying to achieve in your work?
  • What is working well? And the reasons for this?
  • What are the things that are getting in the way?
  • What are your plans to grow the work? And, what is important for us in the future?
  • Anything else?

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday 11 November. In the meantime, if you would like to suggest themes for future conversations, please contact Emma Binnersley using emma.binnersley@yorkshiresport.org.
