How can the sport and physical activity sector help address the climate emergency?

As part of a series of online events in the second week of COP26, the United National Climate Change Conference in Glasgow, we are inviting those who work in the sport and physical activity sector to find out more about the role we can all play in addressing the climate emergency.

We will be joined by:

David Gent
David is the joint lead for the Active Partnerships National Steering Group for Climate Change, and the CEO of Active Humber. David will outline the climate emergency, and some of the ways the sector can contribute to a greener world.

Richard Lindsay
Richard is the Save Today, Play Tomorrow project lead for Birmingham County FA. We will ask Richard to share with us what his organisation has done so far providing advice and guidance for how other organisations can begin or progress their own plans to make a difference to the environment.

The event will conclude with a question and answer session with our two speakers.
